Alison is a Cambridge artist who has been painting her dream-like landscape-like paintings for many years. While based on glimpses or memories of actual landscapes these paintings incorporate colours and perspectives straight from the imagination. Her unique working method involves painting glazes of oil over a base of many layers of drippy acrylics. A painting may have many incarnations in many layers before it is finally finished.
